“We go to the movies so we can feel something fulfilling” Michael Hague, Hollywood pitching consultant

Promos are not trailers. Promos are geared towards distributors and buyers in a film market and tell the story (including spoilers!) of a film. They generally work best between 5 – 10 minutes, enough time to detail the story, tone, main characters and best scenes, but not so long that it drags.

The best promos are concise, connect with the viewer and leave them wanting more.
