Elle’s passion for film and TV started with her first visit to LA’s Universal Studios when she was 11 years old.

This fascination with the ‘making of’ films led her to join a Young Film-makers group when she was at school. Here she learned about make docos, video clips and TV interviews. She also joined St Martin’s Youth Theatre to learn about acting.

Elle went on to major in film studies as a part of her university BA Degree. She learned to make film clips and short films, as well as starring in some of them.

During her overseas backpacking travels she experienced work on a film set in Egypt before gaining a job in Soho, London with an editing company. Elle spent two years experiencing both the production and post production side of films, TV commercials and music videos.

After 4 years away Elle finally arrived home in Melbourne only to get itchy feet after 4 days. She moved to Sydney where she worked as a freelance production assistant and assistant director on hundreds of big budget TVC’s, music videos, short films. Elle also worked on Babe II as an additional assistant director.

After another stint of traveling Elle returned to Melbourne. Here she started Production Managed numerous TVC’s, Production Managed on the feature film ‘Max’s Dreaming (Deeper Than Blue)’, and AD’s on numerous TVC’s, films and TV shows, before gaining a full time position as a Producer for an animation company. Elle produced TVCs, short animation films and video game cinematics such as Jurassic Park and Mission Impossible II.

Elle then produced a short film with that was screened at the St Kilda film festival.

Elle was then offered a full time position at Tribal Film as Clara Chong’s producer, as well as other directors. Since then Elle has Produced full time for Snapper Screen Productions, freelanced on various productions and Agency produced for various Advertising Agencies. In 2010 Elle produced the Apple Australia shoot with The Film Bakery, which included locations in Sydney, Uluru and Byron Bay.
