CAMERA
The Film Bakery owns both 16mm Film and Digital High Definition camera kits. The Film Bakery team have been pioneers in Digital HD for the last 10 years and have a proven track record of making this format work seamlessly on productions from a simple interview for the web to feature films for cinema release.
LIGHTING
The Film Bakery owns a package of lightweight tungsten lighting heads ideal for interviews, product shots or small drama scenes. For more elaborate lighting requirements we outsource either a van package focussed on kino’s, small tungsten and some HMI’s or when required, a full lighting truck package.
SOUND
At The Film Bakery sound is treated as the equal partner of the vision. Our in-house kit includes a range of microphones and recording options to achieve clean, crisp and detailed sound recordings. This becomes the basis for the eventual Sound Design & Mixing.
STEADICAM
The Film Bakery places a particular emphasis on creative use of camera movement. The most flexible and efficient form of camera movement is the Steadicam® body mount. This allows for full freedom of movement while maintaining a classically smooth look. Because of its importance, The Film Bakery owns and operates its own Steadicam, packaged in a travel-friendly lightweight kit.
